Heather Harris is a multidisciplinary Artis living and creating in the rugged beauty of northwestern British Columbia.  Her work is a vibrant and expressive response to the land that surrounds her -a place where mist moves through ancient trees, rivers carve stories in stone, and the woods seem to speak if you will listen.

Working in various mediums, from oil painting, wood carving and traditional glass painting, Heather explores the relationship between human emotion and the rhythms of the natural world.  Her pieces often begin as quiet walks or fleeting observations -the rustle of birch leaves, the colours of a changing sky -and evolve into layered, intuitive compositions.
